At least 20 suicide bombers launched successive attacks inside the governmental area in the Afghan capital, Kabul, Aljazeera reporter quoted Taliban spokesman Zabih Allah Mujahid as saying.
The attacks, in which 5 people were killed and 38 wounded, hindered a presidential palace meeting in which 14 new ministers should have been sworn in.
Meanwhile, Afghan President Hamid Karzai said that the authorities had regained control in Kabul following the attacks in which all assailants were killed.
